For those of you jumping on the “ZOMG THE PIPELINE IS EVILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL” bandwagon? Thanks for not believing in the Unions and Local skilled workers. Thanks for not also seeing how this will benefit the local towns that our workers go through. While I appreciate and stand for the idea of finding other energy sources (GO Wind power!), our country isn’t there yet.
So thank you for screwing 400 some heavy equipment operators and countless other skilled workers out of working locally. I’m sure their families thank you for them going on the road again, hundreds of miles away to earn their trade.
Finally thank you for screwing over my job. Not that it means shit to you. I can always find another job that I enjoy and look forward to going to cause I make a difference right?
Yeah seriously, fuck you all. I’m glad that people are finally getting arrested for being stupid. Get the facts, educate yourselves. I’ve gotten from our side, your side AND the unbiased shit. This isn’t even going to be a fucking BLIP on the environmental radar. In the mean time, the economy sucks and your holding up jobs. While families go hungry, I do hope you sleep well with your little privileged selves. The rest of us are trying to find out how to make due.
I’ll think of you when filling out my unemployment form and wondering how the fuck to pay my bills. Really.
